Hey Guys!
I just thought I would post a verse that has really been an encouragement for me lately.
Here you go...
(9)"But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
(10) Who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy."
1 Peter 2:9-10
I just thought this was a really cool verse! Just to think that the moment we step out of our prideful selves and into God's grace by accepting His Son, we obtain God's mercy and we become the people of God! And to think that anyone can obtain this amazing gift if they would just accept Christ and what Christ did for us. But to think (on top of all of this) that we are responsible for spreading these truths to the world.... That is such an awesome task and yet such a great promise!
